(Dec. 19, 2010) I've been working on more concept art for private clients. Painted all in Photoshop!
(Oct. 7, 2010) Thanks Bob for reminding me to update my portfolio. I SHOULD do it more often. Here are a few things I've been working on. Surprisingly, I've been putting together more websites and album covers then anything else--not as much illustration. I guess I won't be illustrating much until I land my dream job, my chances are as good as winning the lotto... sometimes... that's why they call it a dream job. But you just watch me. Someday this Dumbo will fly.

(Sept. 7, 2010) Painted in Photoshop, just for fun.

(Aug. 13, 2010) Concept design and execution for ad campaign. The above piece illustrates the finished product of a handful of final photographs. The stages as illustrated began with 1) concept design, presentation to client. 2) Photoshoot with model and props. 3) Final integration with Photoshop.
This was much more difficult then it looked because of having to get the correct angle, because of perspective on a micro and macro scale, and also acheiving the correct lighting for both life size and miniature objects.

(Mar. 17, 2010) Come out to give myself and 3 fellow artists support for a mind numbing, art exhibit on April 3rd from 7:11pm to 9:02pm. Don't question the odd time becuase you should never question Teresa Nguyen of Red iD Agency who is putting this together. She is brilliant. The event is presented by Red iD Agency. Location: 215 Henry Street, Dallas Tx, 75226

You've found Juiceworx on the world wide web, your home for GREAT GRAPHIC DESIGN, ILLUSTRATION, PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY, AND WITTY ONE-LINERS, and also the digital home of the very real, very sexy, and very substantial, both in physical matter and ego, Tuan Vu. Everything on this site, well almost everything is all Tuan--all art, photography, design, coding, etc...
Tuan has no reservations in telling the world the joy he has in working with people and sometimes forgets to send out invoices to collect payment because his joy is so great. And, he also is pretty darn snazzy at what he does because, he is not only a highly skilled illustrator, he is also a top notch graphic designer, and, not too shabby, photographer. Look at this website for example, all the details, from the coding, to the hand drawn background and right down to all the photos, are precision-executed by this kid, who's going through a quarter life crisis.
His skills with nunchucks rival that of Chuck Norris, but are not as great as his skills with a pencil and paintbrush. If asked how long have you been drawing, he will humbly respond by a lightning quick chop to the side of the head and say, "Time is irrelevant, only the here and now are important", which means he has been drawing since the age of 3, or as far as he can remember.
Yes, if you are one of the following, Tuan would like a word with you.
